Watershed Initiative Overview
Algalita is working to mitigate the impacts of the built environment that take place on any beach or coastline, the fringe between man and nature. We are applying watershed principles and new technology to areas such as Yosemite slough. Yosemite slough is impacted by raw sewage and sewage discharge. Cleaning up areas such as the Yosemite slough would increase the lifestyle values, amenity values and ecological values of these areas.
