Grammy-winner Graham Nash, one of the most enduring figures in popular music, began his career as co-founder of the British rock group the Hollies, where he became part of one of the most influential and best-known groups in rock ‘n roll history. In 1969 he joined David Crosby and Steven Stills to form Crosby, Stills, and Nash and became part of another of the best-known groups. Crosby, Stills, and Nash were inducted into the Rock Hall of Fame in 1997. Besides his remarkable talents as song-writer, musician, and singer, Graham Nash is also a photographer, artist, and writer, and dedicated environmentalist.
Jim Messina, a native Californian, has worked with some of the greatest rock stars in rock history: the Buffalo Springfield, Joni Mitchell, Leon Russell, Neil Young, and was a founding member of the country rock band Poco. In the early 70s he joined up with singer/songwriter Kenny Loggins, and as Loggins and Messina the duo became one of the most popular acts of the era. He continues to write and record on his own and with Antara Blasius and Delilah Poupore and supports community-based organizations that work in the public interest. |
