Algalita MRF Honored at the Water Quality Awards
Recognition of Outstanding Achievement in Water Quality Research
Algalita Marine Research Foundation was among several individuals
and organizations recently honored at the California Regional Water
Quality Control Board Los Angeles Region 2003 Annual Water Quality
Awards held on October 23, 2003 at the Glendale Hilton Hotel.
AMRF was awarded the 2003 Water Quality Research Award. This award is given for a major study or body of work that has fostered a better understanding of water quality issues.

and restoration of the marine environment, Algalita Marine Research
Foundation (AMRF) uniquely merges sound scientific principles with
heartfelt advocacy. AMRF’s research has provided
invaluable
support for important trash and stormwater regulations by showing
